How much stage time will performers receive?

The slots are typically 30 or 45 minute slots. This may or may not vary according the the troupes needs. Will be confirmed closer to the dates of the festival.


What is the range of shows and styles the festival is seeking?

We're open to anything. Mt Olymprov doesn't follow a specific style of performances. Blow our minds. Show us something we haven't seen before.


What is the local improv scene like?

The improv scene in Greee is still young. Most audience members have no idea what improv is and many have a hard time believing it is all unscripted.

The ones that know it, love it!


What are the festival's goals?

When it comes to the local improviser community, we want their horizons to be expanded and to be inspired by instructors and performers that are very different to what they are used to here in Greece.

As for the general Greek audience, we want them to see how far this art form and reach, and to see shows that will be like nothing they have ever seen before!

Our goals go even further than that. Greece being a new in the game, we want to put it in the global improv map. We want people to see what it is we do down here and be known that there are improv opportunity is Greece as well now. There is more to us than just feta cheese and debts! 🙂


What are the selection criteria for this festival?

We primarily focus on bringing people in that are outside the typical European festivals.
