Grand Rapids Improv Festival 2017

October 30-November 06, 2017

About Grand Rapids Improv Festival 2017

Come join us in one of Michigan's most happening cities for a week of improv festival fabulousness at the Grand Rapids Improv Festival (GRIF). The GRIF will be held October 30th-November 6th in Downtown Grand Rapids, MI! Our home base for the week will be DogStory Theater.

Still buzzing off of the energy from GRIF 2016 we have come together to create an even bigger festival with more time: to perform, teach, network, and most importantly get weird. We’re excited to bring together local and national talent to the city that we love. We’re also excited for others to come experience our fantastic city!

You can expect the festival to include some of last year's not to miss events like Improv Chaos and a the Downtown Improv Crawl - a bar crawl and improv show in one. As well as some new crowd pleasers, specialty workshops, and Comedy Outlet Monday bookends of the festival (a local weekly improv favorite) this is not to be missed.

Slots are limited and teams/teachers are encouraged to submit early.
