About The Gladstone Comedy Festival 2018

Come be a part of our first comedy festival. We will feature performances and workshops in improv (longform and short), sketch, standup, musical comedy, experimental comedy, etc... If it can be performed on a stage and loosely called comedy, we want you here.

The festival will take place at the two stages at The Groundhog Day Theater, the open-air Linden Square amphitheater, and other local venues. There are lots of places in the immediate walkable area to get something to eat, to get a beverage, and there will be lots of things going on. Our goal is that, if you come, you’re going to have such a great time, you’ll want to come back every year.

Kansas City is that nice size dot right in the middle of the map, just a day’s drive from Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, Dallas, Memphis, or Indianapolis. Southwest Airlines has 70 some cheap flights into the Kansas City Airport (MCI) everyday.
