Seattle Festival of Improv Theater 2020

February 12-16, 2020

About Seattle Festival of Improv Theater 2020

This festival showcases the best artistry in the nation, and pushes the boundaries of what is possible in this art form. SFIT also galvanizes the Pacific Northwest community, and establishes Seattle and JCI as the center of the artistic hub of Improv in America. Our 18th Annual Festival includes a tremendous variety of improv shows at two venues over 5 days; a variety of weekend improv workshops taught by instructors from around the continent; improv masterclasses; nightly networking events; and The Dust-Up (our answer to the typical festival “improv jam”).

Last year's festival saw over 90+ performers from 21 improv groups representing 10 cities across North America perform in 12 shows at 2 venues over 5 nights.

SFIT is produced by Jet City Improv, a 501(c)3 non-profit improvisational theater company in Seattle, Washington. Our mission is to enlighten, educate and entertain audiences of all ages and economic backgrounds utilizing theater's improvisational roots in order to bring the art of improvisation into the mainstream thought of everyday culture. We produce great improvisational theater (short form and long form) all year round.
