About Coulee Region Improv and Sketch festival

The Coulee Region Improv and Sketch Festival is an annual festival Sponsored By and Organized as a part of the La Crosse Community Theatre's (LCT) anual performance season. As a part of its ongoing mission of community outreach, LCT invites regional improvisation and sketch ensembles and accepts submissions from national ensembles to perform and take part in classes taught by world renown instructors and coaches at the Weber Center for the Performing Arts each January.

Festival History



La Crosse Community Theatre has been a La Crosse tradition since 1963. They now produce nine shows during their September through June season, including dramas, comedies, musicals, children’s performances and an Improvisation and Sketch Festival. La Crosse Community Theatre creates productions and projects that enhance the theatrical literacy of their audience members, volunteers, students, and staff. They provide opportunities for creativity and personal growth in a fun, collaborative environment. As a community, they celebrate human connections through communication and interaction.
