The Hollywood Improv Festival (HIF) was founded to celebrate the diverse viewpoints that comprise both the Los Angeles and national improv communities. Los Angeles is home to people from all over the nation (and the world), so we found it important to open ourselves up to groups from outside of LA.We are diverse, but we are united. Improv allows people from different walks of life to work towards a common goal, and we at the Hollywood Improv Festival wish to celebrate and spread that spirit of unity.
Festival History
The Hollywood Improv Festival is organized by the Middle Theatre Company, a 501(c)3 California nonprofit company focused on the development of improv as an artform and bringing improv to the community.
