About Countdown Improv Festival

Countdown Improv Festival, formerly known as the 321 Improv Festival, is a three-day festival dedicated exclusively to trio, duo, and solo improv comedy. This year's festival will take place in the historic Ybor City neighborhood of Tampa, Florida, at the extraordinary HCC Studio Theatre one of the best venues on the festival circuit. If you are a trio, duo, or solo improviser, please come join us for three days' worth of shows, workshops, parties, sunshine, and good vibrations.

Our Mission

Countdown Improv Festival was created to celebrate and showcase some of the world's most talented small-group improvisers. We are committed to providing the absolute best festival experience possible for our performers and our audience.

Workshops

Instructors may submit workshop applications using the Improv Network’s teaching tool. Ideally, the workshops will be directly relevant to the needs of small-group improvisers. We are looking to program between 3 and 5 workshops.

About the Organizers

The festival is a production of New York City's Countdown Theater, the world's first and only roaming, pop-up improv theater. Its artistic directors are Kelly Buttermore and Justin Peters, otherwise known as the nationally touring comedy duo From Justin to Kelly.
