Our annual camps are a three-night retreat for adults 18 and are over. Camp West takes place Memorial Weekend at Camp Ocean Pines, nestled on the California coast in Cambria, California and Camp East takes place Labor Day Weekend in the beautiful Poconos Mountains near Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania and our newest retreat Camp Improv Utopia Yosemite takes place in Bass Lake, CA tucked away in one of the most beautiful places in the world and offers a new curriculum. Improvisers and actors from all over the world come together and learn improv from nationally renowned teachers. This three-night camping experience includes improv workshops, camp activities like archery and axe throwing, shared cabin camping with hot showers, bathrooms, electricity and all your meals and much more. CIU is a 501(c)(3) Non-profit and a majority of their profits goes back into improv festivals, theaters and improv and arts related causes.
