Lisa's Info
Since graduating with a First Class Honours in Musical Theatre in 2009, Lisa has worked as an award winning professional actor, singer and improviser in London and LA and at improv festivals across Europe. Lisa began improvising in 2015. She is now a fixture on the London Improv scene, teaching for the UK's Number 1 Improv School HOOPLA, and performing as a member of 4 improv groups: HELLYEAH!, MusicBox, Multiverse and Acaprov (She founded Acaprov: The Improvised A Cappella Musical with a grant from The Nursery Theatre in 2018 and also Co-Directs Multiverse). Pre-COVID-19 and BREXIT she performed monthly short-form and long-form shows in London and Internationally with the above 4 groups and guested with many others. During the UK Lockdowns she continued to guest, and taught Acaprov workshops regularly online with HOOPLA, Extreme Impro, Mopco Theatre NY, Highwire MD and Hideout Theatre TX. Having performed at SWIMP (17&20), TILT Festival, SO improv fest Bulgaria, Improfest Gothenburg and the online Amsterdam Improvathon 2020. Lisa plans to tour the world teaching and performing ASAP! She also plans to sell out the Brighton Fringe again in 2022 with 3 different improvised musical groups. Lisa uses her experience training with MonkeyToast, Hoopla, Groundlings, Will Naameh, Boss Birds Liverpool and The Nursery Theatre, combined with her degree, a decade of professional acting work, and 8 years teaching Acting: to offer a variety of workshops at all levels."Lisa's workshops always develop a collaborative and supportive atmosphere within the group.
