Malorie's Info

Malorie is one of the founding members of Full Disclosure Comedy, Knoxville's long-form improv and sketch comedy group.

Malorie has studied, performed and coached long-form improv since helping establish FDC in 2014. These are based on her studies of the UCB Comedy Improv Manual. She, along with six other performers, are self-taught on the manual. They spent six months studying twice a week, before starting to perform Harold's. FDC now has several standing gigs and has performed in festivals across the southeast.

She recently partnered in coaching a workshop at the Gatlinburg Improv Festival, "Long form, short scenes and what smart means". It focused on playing to the top of your intelligence and finding "the game" as quickly as possible. Malorie provides workshops on The Basics of long-form, The Opening: How to get the audience on your side, Keep Climbing: Heightening and No I in Team: Group games. She typically coaches on the road at festivals or at theatre companies but occasionally will instruct workshops in her community of Knoxville.
