Ralph's Info

Ralph is a performer, director, producer, and instructor and has been involved in improv comedy since 2008. He is the AD Emeritus of Philly Improv Theater (PHIT) and was a curriculum advisor at Liberty Improv Theater.

Ralph has been a member of many house teams and indie groups such as King Friday, Pasiones de Pasiones (an improvised Spanish telenovela), In Space, Untitled, the duo Sad Trombone with Steve Kleinedler as well as the duo Understudy with the amazing Shannon DeVido.

Ralph also hosts Porn Stash, a panel discussion show where Ralph along with fellow comedian Betty Smithsonian find interesting clips of porn and watch them with a panel of comedians and smart people from around the city. We then use the clips to springboard into conversations about love, sex, relationships, society, politics, and whatever else may come up. This is a sex-positive and body-positive show that informs and educates as well as entertains.

Ralph has performed on the UCB Theatre main stage as part of the Del Close Marathon, at the People’s Improv Theater for the New York Improv Festival, at the Magnet Theater in New York, on the Baltimore Improv Group stage, at the Chicago Improv Festival, North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, Boston Improv Festival, EdgeFest in Baltimore, Detroit Improv Festival, SteelStacks Improv Festival, and the Los Angeles Improv Comedy Festival.

Ralph has also partnered with schools such as Haverford College and University of Pennsylvania to provide workshops and classes that integrate improv skills and coaching ideals into academic learning as well as preparation for networking, research funding, and job searches after graduation.

When not performing, Ralph runs a successful coaching practice and has helped numerous clients from entrepreneurs and leaders in global corporations, to single mothers and clients suffering from crippling social anxiety to be more confident, clear, and focused on the future.

Ralph also hosts The Hey Let Me Ask You Something Podcast with his co-host Kristin Wood, LCSW. Already in it's third season, the show tackles topics and engages with guests that inspire more listeners to ask more questions and have more interesting conversations. The show can be found on all major podcast platforms and has a worldwide audience.
