About The Jerries

The Jerries are an all-female team from Kansas City, MO. They formed during their time studying together at the Kansas City Improv Company Training Center, and have been performing regularly in KC since August 2017. Their live shows are sure to include big physicality, absurd characters in real worlds, tag runs, and exploration of ideas to surprising outcomes. Their signature form is the "Sleepover", which begins with each improviser repeating the same mantra, but in various tones and characters. We then see brief scenes with each character until all have been seen, and then a series of scenes dealing with the topics/POVs/characters created in the opening.

You can usually find The Jerries playing at America's Improv Test Kitchen and other indie shows around KC. They've also had the joy of performing as a team at KCIC specialty shows including Clusterfunk and Underground Throwdown, and performing individually for Bring a Friend and Improv Thunderdome shows.
