Freshen up your Group Games - Harold and Otherwise

Navigating group games are a balance of listening and commitment. Many of us are familiar with many games, but what happens when they get stale? We will use common games (e.g. Dear Diary, Town Hall, Conference Room, Sound & Movement etc.) as a baseline to then grow into unfamiliar territory with confidence. I believe group games exist as a palate cleanser for the team and audience, while providing a space for exploration and discovery. ||||||||| This workshop provides you with tools to create a variety of different games, identify themes, and in general shake up your preconceived notions of what games are. |||||| We will look at group games largely through the lens of Harold, but then will expand to other forms as well. |||||| Note: This is not a workshop about group scenes, but the principles can be taken and applied to other scene work.
