Character Engines: The Why of your Want

In this 2 and half hour workshop we delve into those lulls you find in your shows where things run out of steam. Where did all the momentum go? It's like a car that's stalled along the highway and when that happens, you don't get out and look at the paint job, you check under the hood. Every character has an engine, something that keeps it moving throughout a scene. Setting this engine up properly at the top of your scene ensures your character can always be revved back up and reconnected. We deconstruct characters and their wants during this scene work heavy workshop to find your character's engine, your character's purpose, your character's WHY.
