Musical Improv Basics

This class is for the beginning musical improviser, and teaches the basic skills necessary to create an improvised song. Focus will be on simple structures, viewpoint, and performance technique. Students will learn to sing structured group songs, trios, and duets in a supportive and fun environment. Instruction will also include a basic introduction to movement, vocal health and familiarity with the instrument. Great for students that are looking to become more confident in their singing or become bolder in their physical and vocal choices. Some improv experience preferred, but not required.
