Alaska State Improv Festival 2014

April 24-27, 2014

About Alaska State Improv Festival 2014

The Alaska State Improv Festival is entering into its second year. AS IF! seeks
intriguing forms of improv from wherever it is performed. The inaugural
festival featured performers from some of the nation
's
most recognized theaters (ioWest, Second City), strong regional
companies (ImprovBoston, The Hideout Theatre, Unexpected Productions),
and stalwart independent groups from New York, Chicago, and across
Alaska.

AS IF! will
continue to seek out performers  with diverse geography and unique
formats for the 2014 festival. The festival is proud to welcome as its
master artists Susan Messing (iO, The Annoyance [Chicago, IL]) and Amber
Nash (Archer [FX Network], Dad's Garage [Atlanta, GA]).

The
production team strives to provide every performer with The Alaska
Experience, providing personal access to Juneau's local flavor when
shows and workshops are not in session. Visit our website at

"This
is one lovely festival in the most beautiful place in the world! The
folks are lovely, the scenery is amazing, the improv is hot - I can't
say enough great things." - Andy Eninger, The Second City, Chicago, IL

"I have been to A LOT of festivals and I've never felt so taken care of.
From... the sightseeing, the fish dinner(s), the parties with
free food, I could go on... you guys were freaking terrific." - Greg
Stackhouse, Cat Pack (Unexpected Productions), Seattle, WA
