What venue(s) will be a part of the festival?
All performances will be at The Westside Comedy Theater - www.westsidecomedy.com/directions
What lodging options are available?
We are looking into hotel block options and room/couch surfing options.
What transportation options are available?
There is a Metro train stop near us and plenty of busses. There are rental bikes and free rental cars available for up to two hours.
What dining options are available?
We are near the 3rd street promenade in Santa Monica one of the most popular outside malls in the world. It has tons of bars and restaurants.
What local events or attractions are available?
The Beach, Santa Monica Pear. We plan to have beach volleyball and hopefully water activities like surf lessons and things like that. We are still planning so we will add information as it comes. But we will have a lot of fun activities planned.

How much stage time will performers receive?
25 minutes.
What is the range of shows and styles the festival is seeking?
We are looking for short form or long form shows. Bottom line, we are looking for great shows. Genre, themed, Harold.
What is the local improv scene like?
Santa Monica is a small town theater in a big city. Which is what we love. More intimate and we get great audiences. Our audience are accustomed to long and short form. A great show with a hook goes a long way here.
What are the festival's goals?
We want to help grow the improv community and offer a great experience to all visiting teams. We want to have a festival in the LA area that give the audience a diverse array of shows and helps further their knowledge of improv.
What are the selection criteria for this festival?
Our festival committee will review all tape and vote separately. We will then compare numbers and see what groups got the highest numbers.

This festival is designed to harvest great comedic talent from across the country. This will be our first year, but promises to bring you a top notch festival that will take care of the community, show you a good time and bring you great activities and workshops from master instructors. The festival will be held at The Westside Comedy Theater and is produced by Nick Armstrong and Jeff Thompson.
