East meets West on a geothermal icecube! Shows, workshops, sightseeing, jams, hot tubs, parties and northern lights!

The Reykjavík International Improv Festival is a platform for improvisers from Europe and America to meet in the middle. The festival, is held downtown Reykjavík, around the National Theater. It's intimate and interesting, mixing improv with everything that Reykjavík and it's surroundings have to offer.
 


Improv Iceland, the host of the Reykjavik International Improv Festival is a non for profit troupe that was founded by artistic director Dóra Jóhannsdóttir in 2015. The festival's first year was in 2017 and had a combination of performances and workshops.
