Holly Lambert

Holly's Info

Holly has been performing and coaching since 2008. She has taught short-form, long-form, and musical improv all around Chicago, for Texas Tech University’s improv troupe, Alternative Fuels (Lubbock, TX) and most recently for the Amarillo Conservatory Theater (Amarillo, TX).

In 2010, she was elected Alternative Fuels Improv’s first female president, helping create a new program with Texas Tech University’s Multicultural Center called “Learning Through Laughter.” After graduating from Texas Tech with her Masters in Human Development and Family Studies in 2012, she moved to Chicago to pursue comedy.

Holly is a graduate of Second City Training Center’s Writing Program, Improvisation Conservatory, and Music Improvisation Conservatory, as well as a graduate of iO Chicago. In addition to performing, she produces Buzzed Broadway: The Improvised Musical and Audience Drinking Game, Same! A Sketch Duo, and After Party (musical improv).

Her teaching style is direct and fun, focusing on driving scenes through characters, physicality, staying in the moment, and making bold choices. Her goal is to help you break out of your shell or get out of your head, while having a blast on stage.
