Festival Setup

Welcome to the festival creation wizard. If you’ve already set up a troupe or a theatre, you’re probably familiar with how to set up a new profile. You’ll find that festival profiles have more tools than the others. If you’re new to setting one up please take the time to go through the information below. This will help you create an effective festival profile that will get you the most attention.

We’re here to make things easier

You're theatre likely has a web page. There's general information like directions, classes, corporate workshops and everything else someone would want to know. Once it has been set up it's easy to update it just with upcoming performance information. It isn’t necessary to completely rewrite the site each week. The framework is already there.

The same principle applies festivals. You don’t need to write completely new information for each submission period. That creates a lot of extra work and takes up more time. When submissions are only open for two months out of the year, that leaves 10 months when troupes are unable to learn about your festival. By getting your festival information up year round it creates a bigger window for troupes to find it and submit when the time comes.

This tool will help you set up a permanent profile for your festival. All of the information about your festival's location, mission and history will be available to people year round. After that profile is set up, you'll be able to add information for each new yearly event the same way you would add weekly shows to your theatre calendar. It’s that simple.

If this is your first year, it will take a little extra time to set up the permanent information for your festival. In the years to come you'll be able to add new info in less than a minute.

We know that you’re excited about your festival. And we are too. When you're ready to begin setting up its profile, just click the button below.
