Brooke's Info

Brooke Hartnett has been doing make-em-ups for almost two decades, if you count middle school, which she does. She has actually been doing improv since 2011 (still a pretty long time) after joining the University of Arizona’s long-running improv group The Charles Darwin Experience. After college, Brooke spent a year performing, coaching, and teaching improv at Tucson Improv Movement, before moving to Chicago, where she completed improv training programs at both iO Chicago and the Chicago Improv Den. She filled out her improv education during that time with workshops from Upright Citizen’s Brigade, Second City, Logan Square Improv, and many incredible performers who perform and teach in Chicago/LA. In 2018, she began co-producing a weekly open stage show at Logan Square Improv, where space was held for performers in the community to practice and get onstage, while playing weekly with her team Pappy at the Chicago Improv Den and iO. She has taught workshops at the annual Tucson Comedy Arts Festival and is looking forward to sharing her organic, heart-centered emotional improv perspective with folks in LA!
