Nathan's Info

Hey Ya'll, I'm Nathan Ray Clark. I've been teaching improv for about 7 years. I began training with The Second City Hollywood in 2003, and continued studying & performing at Upright Citizens Brigade LA then with The Nerdist School Theater.
My journey as a teacher started while working for The Second City performing, and teaching Norwegian Cruise Line passengers the basics of improvisation. After my contract was up I went out on my own to teach improv workshops. The content of what I teach ranges from the basics of improvisation, character creation/development, relationship, emotion, scene work, short form, and long form. The standard requirements in all of my classes are to make bold choices, support your fellow classmates, give yourself the freedom to fail, and most importantly have fun. Because if you aren't, then who is?
Past clients of my workshops include: University of California Irvine, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Del Mar College(Corpus Christi), The Nest(Rated America's #1 Scariest Haunted House, Phoenix, AZ), The Blanco Agency(Talent Agency), and The Third Coast Improv Festival(Nashville, TN)

Improv not only changed the way I perform as an actor/comedian, but also changed how I view life and the world around me. In short, it's really good stuff. 🙂

Best,
Nathan
