Menelaos's Info
Menelaos is an improviser based in Athens, Greece. His improv brain, though, grew in Austin, TX. After some years of classes, workshops, rehearsals, troupes, shows, rehearsals, ensembles, rehearsals (the most difficult word to type deserves to be here 3 times!), he moved back to his hometown, where he founded ImproVIBE, the country's first and -currently- only improv school and theater. Menelaos is also the producer of Mt. Olymprov, Greece's International Improv Festival.During the years of ImproVIBE's operation he's been teaching day-in day-out dozens of students, taking them from their very first improv baby steps, to advanced longform shows and everything in between. He also regularly teaches corporate workshops, as well as more subject specific workshops in various Greek cities and abroad.
Menelaos has taught and/or performed improv In Greece, Belgium, Turkey, Finland, Germany, USA.
He believes very strongly in the power of improv to make better people and works towards its dissemination in Greece and beyond. His main troupe is "Bus Kai", a 2-person troupe based in Athens, Greece.
He spends most of his free time cycling, playing escape room games (and any kind of game in general) and cleaning up his dog's mess.
