Kevin's Info

I began teaching at Improv Olympic in 1995 and taught several levels for them before moving to New York City to teach for the Upright Citizen Brigade theater in 1999. I taught for UCBT-NY for seven years where I also served as the Artistic Director and the head of their training program. I wrote and shaped their original curriculum.

I teach a great variety of classes and workshops. I specialize in workshops that focus on the Game of the Scene, Harolds, Deconstructions, Improvising from the Gut and Characters. I believe in using practical exercises which work specific skills and giving students multiple chances to try the exercises in class. I like small class sizes and curriculums that keep students on their feet as much as possible.

I'm interested in traveling anywhere in the world where students are eager to learn practical skills which will make them a better improvisor. If you are curious about me, please listen to the Improv Resource Center Podcast to find out more about my approach to improv.
