About Slackers

Slackers, a troupe lead by Matt Sheelen, was formed in Early 2013. Taking the Slacker format made famous by Beer Shark Mice, Slackers explores characters and relationships while creating a world where these people would live.

Although Slackers is a relatively new troupe, the improvisers have all been performing for years.

As of 2014, Slackers has performed at the Red Rocks Improv Festival, twice, and the OC Improv Festival. We had the honor of performing with Brian O'Connell, teacher at the Miles Stroth Workshop and io West, at the 2014 Red Rocks Improv Festival.
