Be Kind to Yourself

From your first impro scenes you’re trained to fail happily, be generous and start positive. As you progress you want to be good so badly you forget those lessons should apply to your own feelings too! It becomes far too easy to obsess over all the crappy offers, awkward mistakes and clunky shows. The fear sets in and you become your own harshest critic. This practical workshop using the principles of self-compassion will help you to be more resilient offstage, gain some perspective and tear up the pity party invitations in a supportive environment. Less impro theory class and more a valuable life lesson to help beginners and experienced performers thrive.
